Did you know eating a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables is a great way to get all your vitamins and minerals?

  • Salad Bar—select spinach or kale and add 3 other colorful vegetables and fruits

Great Stations for Fueling Up

  • Grill and salad bar—Make your selection at the grill, but instead of getting French fries, load on fruits, veggies, and yogurt.
  • Deli—Sandwiches make great pre- and post- workout snacks. Try a PB&J, turkey, or ham sandwich.
  • Chocolate Milk—Chocolate milk is the best recovery drink. It provides the right amount protein to rebuild muscle and carbohydrates to replenish glycogen stores.

Interested in learning more about nutrition, health, and wellness? Centenary College’s registered dietitian is here to answer all your questions! Kelsey specializes in a variety of nutrition-related areas including food allergies, chronic illnesses, and how to build a balanced plate at any location on campus. With a passion for food and nutrition, Kelsey believes in empowering people to lead healthy lifestyles through education and access to healthy foods. Food Allergies

Students with special dietary needs are expected to communicate their dietary restrictions and requirements to the Dining Team. Food prepared and served in the Simple Servings station is free of the top seven food allergens (wheat, eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, and soy) as well as gluten. The Simple Servings station is located in Bynum Commons and is open for lunch and dinner daily.  If you have a food allergy/special diet concern, please call or send us a note using the feedback form.

Mindful is Sodexo's health & wellness approach that helps you make healthy choices second nature! We are committed to creating healthy environments for our customers. Central to this effort is providing healthy, nutritious foods. The result of this initiative is an approach that focuses on transparency of ingredients, delicious food, satisfying portions and clarity in message so that you can make Mindful choices!

Mindful offerings meet stringent nutritional criteria based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Each meal part is limited in calories, has fewer than 30% of calories as fat, fewer than 10 % of calories as saturated fat, and is restricted in sodium, and cholesterol. Look for the Mindful icon to indulge in the healthy and delicious items offered at each meal.
